“Take an opportunity and turn it into an adventure by dreaming big!”  Jo Franz

We believe in people and their ability to create and transform.
We believe in Nature and her ability to heal and regenerate.
We believe in the wisdom of collectives and their ability to manifest!

Who we are

Leticia Rigatti

Communicator, consultant and group facilitator. An avid activator of projects and passionate about collectives! I have a Masters in Marketing from the University of Barcelona and many years of experience in communication planning and brand positioning. In the last 15 years I have specialized in facilitation working with organizations, networks and collectives around the world. I was a co-founder of the Común Tierra Project and the CASA Latina Network, and also a representative on the Board of the Global Ecovillage Network. Today, in addition to working at Girassoles, I am a mother of two daughters, a seed saver, with one foot in Bahia, Brasil and the other in the world!

Ryan Luckey

As a facilitator, sociocracy coach, consultant and mediator, I envision a world in which each person finds their unique way of contributing to the regeneration and healing of our planet. And I love facilitating and supporting projects that share this mission! I was born in California, USA, but I consider myself a global citizen, having spent most of my adult life living and working in Latin America. I have been living in Brazil since 2016, raising a family and taking care of a small agroecological farm. I am also a songwriter and musician under the name Luckey.

Weaving Resilient Networks

  • We spent 6 years travelling throughout Latin America documenting and working with over 150 communities, collective and regenerative projects with the Común Tierra Project.
  • We are co-founders of the CASA Latina network (Council of Sustainable Settlements of Latin America) and active members of GEN (Global Ecovillage Network).
  • We were awarded the 2014 Hildur Jackson Award from Gaia Trust, a recognition as the most innovative project within the Global Ecovillage Network
